1.2 This prize draw is free to enter (no purchase required, unless otherwise stated).
1.3 Promotions on social media are in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter, Google, Instagram, LinkedIn or any other social network. You are providing your information to Football Special Ltd. All information provided will be used in strict compliance with GDPR.
2.1 To be eligible to enter this prize draw, entrant must be a real person, at least 18 years old and permanently reside on the Isle of Ireland (proof of address or age may be required).
2.2 Entrant must not be an employee, officer or agent of the Sponsor or Administrator, or an employee, officer or agent of any person or organisation involved in the running of the competition, and entrant must not be a family relation of any such person.
2.3 The minimum number of entries is 1 entry per person. There is no maximum number of entries. The competition will commence on the 12.01am 19th of September 2024 and close on 23.59am the 30th of October 2024
2.4 To enter the prize draw, you must provide an answer for the question ‘What does Football Special taste like?’ in the submission box on the Football Special website found by scanning the QR code.
2.5 By entering the prize draw, you permit Football Special Ltd. to contact you only with information or material related to this prize draw.
3.1 The prize draw shall open for entries at the time and on the date specified above, and similarly, shall close to entries at the time and date specified above. These times and dates are set to those for IST (Irish Summer Time).
3.2 Any entries received before the opening or after the closing of the prize draw will be invalid and will not be entered into the prize draw.
3.3 No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
3.4 Football Special Ltd reserves the right to cancel or amend the prize draw and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of our control. Any changes to the prize draw will be communicated to entrants as soon as possible by Football Special Ltd.
3.5 Entry into the prize draw will be deemed as acceptance of all these terms and conditions.
4.1 If an entrant does not meet the eligibility requirements or is subject to any entry restrictions, that entrant shall not be entitled to be selected as a winner and will not be entitled to a prize in any circumstances.
4.2 The prize winner will be selected from the list of valid entries by Football Special Ltd. employees.
4.3 The prize draw and these terms and conditions will be governed by Irish law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
5.1 Potential prize winners will be notified by email not more than 14 days following the closing date and, if potential prize winners respond to the email and provide the information requested, will receive their prizes via mail delivery not more than 60 days following that closing date.
5.2 Reasonable efforts will be made to contact a prize winner for 14 days but if a winner fails to respond to Football Special Ltd.’s notification attempts within this time or provide an address for delivery of the prize or fails to meet any of the eligibility requirements or is otherwise unable to comply with the competition terms and conditions, Football Special Ltd. reserves the right to disqualify that entrant and offer the prize to the next eligible entrant and thereafter until a winner is found.
5.3 The results of the prize draw will be announced on Football Special Ltd.’s Facebook (Football Special) and Instagram (@mcdaids_football_special) accounts within 20 days following the closing date. The announcement may include the name and submission, the town or region of residence and prize details of each prize winner.
5.4 No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

6.1 We may undertake publicity activities relating to prize awards. The winner therefore agrees to the use of their name & city in social media posts or on our website.
