In September 2026, 1lt bottles of Football Special once again launched into all Lidl stores across NI!
To celebrate, we undertook our most ambitious road trip yet…
We attempted to travel to all 44 Lidl stores in NI in just one day.
We were on the road for 18 hours, travelled 450 miles and even met a few Football Special fans along the way. We couldn’t believe that you guys came out to see us along our travels and this really kept us going throughout the day, we will never stop being amazed at the support you guys have of our humble old soft drink!
We didn’t *quite* make it to all 44 stores, but making it to 39 was an achievement in itself – a World Record perhaps?
Keep an eye on our social media for any news of the next time Football Special launches into Lidl stores!
